A lash lift curls and sets your own lashes from the root. They look more open and longer, without extensions, a curler or mascara. If you would like darker lashes, a tint can be added. Paola works in The Hague and, in certain periods, in Barcelona.

Who it suits, and when to wait
A lash lift suits most people with natural lashes. Speak to Paola first, or wait, if you have:
- an eye infection or recent eye surgery
- an allergy to hair dye or tint
- chemotherapy

Patch test
Sensitive skin, or a reaction to hair dye in the past? Send a WhatsApp message beforehand and we will book a patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment.
How to prepare
- Come without eye make-up and without contact lenses; bring glasses if you need them.
- A lash lift can only be done on your own lashes. If you wear extensions, let us know beforehand.
- Do not use oil-based products around your eyes that day.
- Do you have allergies or sensitive skin? Mention it when you book or on WhatsApp.
Aftercare
For the first 24 hours the result is still setting. This is how to look after your lashes:
- Keep your lashes dry for the first 24 hours.
- No steam, sauna or swimming for the first 24 hours.
- Do not wear mascara for 24 hours.
- Do not rub your eyes or lashes.
- Do not sleep on your front the first night.
- After that, use a nourishing lash serum every day.

Good to know
How long does a lash lift last?
On average 6 to 8 weeks. It depends on the growth cycle of your own lashes: old lashes fall out and new ones grow back in their natural position.
How is it different from lash extensions?
A lash lift curls and sets your own lashes; nothing is added. With extensions, artificial lashes are attached to your own.
How much does a lash lift in The Hague cost?
The prices are at the top of this page, per option. When you book online you pay a €15 deposit, which is deducted from the price. You pay the rest at the studio after your treatment.
Can I reschedule or cancel my appointment?
Yes, free of charge up to 24 hours beforehand, via My appointments. You then get your deposit back. After that, or if you do not turn up, the deposit is not refunded.
Do I need a patch test?
Only if you have sensitive skin or have reacted to hair dye before. Send a WhatsApp message beforehand and we will book the test at least 48 hours before your appointment.
When can I get my lashes wet again?
After 24 hours. All the rules for the first few days are under Aftercare.
